Our story began in 1999 .... Welcome !There is a soul song in Africa, and its rhythm beats wildest off the beaten track. For us, this has always been under canvas, always around an isolated campfire. Often under only the stars themselves. It could be said that this is the address of life, the luxury of time, of space and of belonging. Just perhaps, home happens when we realise that we belong to the land, and that the land does not belong to us. This is what the old continent allows, if you choose to dive in on ‘her' terms, that is.

Our keystones are:35 years of wilderness guidingWilderness is not a place, but a way of life. One that declares that nature is not a thing apart and that the human soul depends on her ways. Without pushing the boundaries of wilderness, we nudge those of our own and our clients. Our vision? To do more of the same, and with even more respect, humility and curiosity than before. We continue to take our lead from the wild. Onwards ...

Nature & LeadershipNature is a redemptive space. And wild connections restore and re-connect a consciousness that touches the seed of well-being and belonging. For the secrets of our origin and the clues of our future are held in the wild landscapes around us. Natural leadership is a quiet reflection of this, and how the fundamental connection can be translated into our daily lives. Conservation awareness remains a non-negotiable absolute in our work and philosophy.

Elephant awarenessAnd then there are elephants. To walk the same ancient pathways, to drink the same water and to breathe the same air as the largest walking mammal on the blue planet is humbling, inspiring. For no man walks down this pathway twice. The great grey landscapers are also keystone to a far greater awareness: a language of the heart and wonder. Elephant conservation therefore is not just about elephants. It's about a precious gateway with our natural world, and our inter-being with it.

Gently running my hand across the surface with velvety blue and water
we were lost and alive with the wild river and her clarity.
Where did the water end and the sky begin?
We could not tell. It did not matter.
